Gratitude as your Super Power!

In short, a regular practice of gratitude has the power to:

  • Increase neural sensitivity in the medial prefrontal cortex in your brain which is associated with learning and making decision
  • Boost your immune system
  • Improve your sleep, decrease fatigue
  • Reduce your risk of disease
  • Increase your confidence in yourself
  • Lower your levels of systemic inflammation (which helps your immune system even more)

These benefits take time to install but the good news is that a constant practice can have lasting effects on your brain and overall health.

💜 Write a gratitude journal at night: 3 things for which you’re grateful for.

💜 Write a letter to someone (hand written is even more powerful) that you wish to thank sincerely for something they’ve done or said… or simply thank them for existing and being part of your life.
